The best I have seen are Savills.co.uk, Barnett Ross and UK Land Directory. Apart from that I see a lot of rubbish £1 per catalouge suggestions from out dated search sites. Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc blah

Do they still owe any money since they didn’t pay the bank back all it’s money? And what happens to their credit report? Also when can they buy a house again? (that they can afford)

I has a probate case and I was to inherit some cash from sell of property. I also was a co-owner of the property. In the state of Ga. The judge ruled that I had to pay back rent as I was living at the property. The administrator did not inform or notify me to pay rent or vacate , no lease was signed etc.
thanks for all the input, but I am still confused. There was no verbal agreement I co-owned the property. Isn’t it kind of crazy to pay rent on something you partially own. I realize the decision is made I am just trying to understand. I know you all have heard of crooked judges. This is my concern. I thought a person needed to be notified to pay rent or vacate . This probate case went on for 10 years. The administrator failed to do her job. The judge met in private with her to go over the checkbook. I found this out the day this decision was made.

I have a 30 year mortgage and, like many, have fallen onto hard times. I can move into another house which I own that has NO mortgage payments. I do NOT want to hurt my credit by defaulting on my mortgage payments. How would I get someone to take over my mortgage payments (sell that house) so that they can own the house and not me?

It has been over a year since the sale of the property. The individual has purchased a property in cash – owner occupied. This would be an additional property on a mortgage. Credit is unblemished besides short-sale.

I recently heard of scams on craigslist where individuals who believed they were renting out an apartment found out that the alleged landlord that rented the property to them was not the owner. They lost over a thousand dollars.
I am in the process of renting a condo from someone I found on craigslist. This person is going through a real estate agent and I have never met or spoken to the owner. Today I received a call from the real estate agent asking if I would be willing to pay first and deposit a month before I actually move into the place. In addition I do not want to sign a lease until certain repairs have been handled. Any suggestions on how to make sure this is legit? Thanks
