Who (what agency) do I go through to make a report that will affect this tenants rental history?

Tenant has no lease. The lanlord wont fix anything and the tenant has two small children. The living conditins are no longer safe for the tenants children.

there a way I can get out of my rental property being taxed legally?

Who actually issues the 1099-S?

Hi, my wife is US citizen, I am living in Canada and have a rental property and my own property in which I am living with my family at the time being. I will be moving to US soon and leaving my property for my parents to live in and I will be paying mortgage for them while I am working in US by sending money back to Canada, should I do that or sell that house and let my parents rent somewhere else? what are the benefits, pro or con of either way? and should I also sell my rental property as well or should I consider keeping it for now and sell it later hope for housing value will going up in the future? (again, my properties are in Toronto, Canada). Does US government charge tax on my properties in Canada? Thank you

We own ten rental units (mobile homes) and charge X amount in rent, but then we ourselves pay 145 dollars to the owner of the mobile home park for lot rent. Can we use this as a deduction on our income tax return?

I’m looking to get rough rent/value ratios for various areas of the country.

I have found websites that display “average home price” and “average rent”, but that isn’t fair because most rentals are lower-end than purchases. I’m looking for an apples-to-apples comparison.

Please don’t include properties which you purchased significantly below market or invested a lot of money in improving.

P.S. I know I’ve asked this before, but judging from the responses, I asked it the wrong way.

I have a duplex that was purchased in 2006. Spent a month rehabilitating it and it was avail for rent beginning Sept 1 2006 but neither unit (prop mgmt issues) rented until early 2007. How do I account for the entry on my federal taxes?

I received social security and a railroad pension.
