How can I get a list of properties in a mortgage-backed security?

The mortgage crisis has two components — the enormous, which focuses on indictments and bankruptcies; and the small, which is the foreclosed house next door. Is it possible to get a list of the addresses of every property contained in a mortgage-backed security such as the Bear Stearns High Grade Structured Credit Fund so that we can make the connection between the huge and the real?

If you buy and sell several properties in a year, do you have to pay property taxes on all of them?

Let’s say you became an amateur property investor… and then managed to buy ten separate properties (through whatever means, don’t worry about the costs of loans or whatever– the point is that you purchased the ten properties) and got them for a somewhat reduced cost so you immediately put them up for sale for a higher price and sold them within, let’s say, 3 months, maybe less. Does the amount of property tax depend on how long you own the property or the fact that you own it at all? In other words, you only owned the properties a fairly short time and they were up for sale all or pretty much all of that time, so do you have to pay property tax or is it only if you own the property for a larger part of a year or the whole year?

Can I sell a property from and use rollover relief to buy two more properties to rent out?

I own a portfolio of 20 properties which I currently rent out. If i were to sell one I have a Capital Gains Tax liability. Can I use the profit from selling one of these houses in order to purchase two more properties to add to my portfolio? Can I use rollover relief to do this, or because letting properties is not classed as a trade, does this prevent me from using rollover relief?
