I’m a non US citizen with a working permit in CA. Just bought a house. Would like to know if in case I’m not here in the States, can I sign a power of attorney for someone else in the U.S. to make the decisions on the property (for example, selling)? any recommended lawyers?
even if it is unmortgaged and all obligations to the creditors and you don’t partake in the societal benefits of property taxes e.g. fire and police protection, garbage collection.
What leg does it stand on now?
I rent my flat from Slater Hogg Lettings and have been for 3 years. When i moved in the power was supplied by EON. I dont have Gas only electricity, i asked them could i change supplier and they said no. My bills are very high, never under £400 every 3 months. Does anyone know if i can change my provider if i rent or is it up to them?
my grandmother owns property in another country, and wants to grant power of attorney to her sister, who still resides in that country. we have gotten a document from her sister’s lawyer stating that if she were granted power of attorney, she would have the right to lease, sell, or demolish & erect a new building in it’s place. Can this be done without my grandmother authorizing such acts???
