Can i change power supplier if i rent my property?
I rent my flat from Slater Hogg Lettings and have been for 3 years. When i moved in the power was supplied by EON. I dont have Gas only electricity, i asked them could i change supplier and they said no. My bills are very high, never under £400 every 3 months. can person who has been granted power of attorney sell a property without the authorization of the donor?
my grandmother owns property in another country, and wants to grant power of attorney to her sister, who still resides in that country. we have gotten a document from her sister’s lawyer stating that if she were granted power of attorney, she would have the right to lease, sell, or demolish & erect a new building in it’s place. Can this be done without my grandmother authorizing such acts???
