How can you prove that a property owner is stealing your rent money for other things other than rent?

The owner is using the money to turn the building into condos. We live on a month to month basis. He says we owe back rent, even though we have money order receipts for each month. Who can we turn to other than the court system? Eventually he is going to kick everyone out and still take their hard earned money. Please HELP! Is there any type of lawyer that handle cases like this before?

I have a chance to buy a house Owner Finance-?

A friend of mine is selling his house I am a first time home buyer and he is willing to do Owner Financing. I have no idea how this works or what forms I need or anything. If anyone has a clue please send me some hints and should I do some forms of something.
The house is below market value here in New Mexico and reason is that the no one wants to buy houses right now.

Can property owner increase rent in the middle of the lease? What can happen if I don’t pay the increase?

In the beginning of this school year, I signed a lease on my apartment for 12 months, paid security and last month’s rent. Two days ago, I received a notice in the mail about a rent increase by 70 dollars. Being a college student on a budget, I cannot afford an increase. What should I do? (I am in Florida) PS. The lease does not say anything about random rent increases as being normal.

I mean I am in west coast & seller is in Northeast state & he is asking a price that is too below the market value of the car (from the pictures provided by him) also very low mileage & Carfax record shows clean title? Is trusting on the pictures send by him to make a deal is good or bad?

How do I verify someone is legit owner of property and can rent me out something on craigslist?

I recently heard of scams on craigslist where individuals who believed they were renting out an apartment found out that the alleged landlord that rented the property to them was not the owner. They lost over a thousand dollars.
I am in the process of renting a condo from someone I found on craigslist. This person is going through a real estate agent and I have never met or spoken to the owner. Today I received a call from the real estate agent asking if I would be willing to pay first and deposit a month before I actually move into the place. In addition I do not want to sign a lease until certain repairs have been handled. Any suggestions on how to make sure this is legit? Thanks

Where are property investors that rent back to the home owner?

I am a desperate mother of three children looking to save own only home. Bank says the home is worth way more than it actually is and now I actually owe more than what is owed on the house. We have no where else to go but could still live here if we find an investor to buy the home and rent it back to us. Terribly terribly despirate to find investor.
