I’m selling my property and my realtor had some really nice flyer’s printed & will be putting them out. I had her give me some extra but have no idea where to distribute them. Most places now don’t like anyone posting stuff like that around their businesses so my mind is blank.
The best mortgage deals
Home owners are wising up to the idea that mortgage rates won’t stay low forever and have started to review their options.
I own a 4-plex with a friend of mine in Minnesota, in an area that is still in “transition”, but is starting to be developed. We don’t live in Minnesota, and have had a LOT of challenges keeping the property going, due to excessive inspections (lead based paint, fire, etc.), problems with tenants, etc. If we sold the property outright, right now, we would not be able to recoup our losses. We would like to attract a developer to the property, which is slated for redevelopment which has already begun, in order to be able to break even on our “investment”. We have lots of ideas ourselves for what a developer could do. Should we start our own website for the property, and then place an ad in the local finance and commerce magazine, to attract developers? Would it help to share our ideas with developers? The county and city were going to send out a joint “request for proposal” to developers for the property on either side of us, but have decided to wait.
Is a 1.5 Acres Horse Property, Sub-Dividable with a 3600 sqt ft Custom Home. Appraised for $1,250,000 on July 15. In the market for $1,139,000. I was thinking to offer a new Pool, or additional 3 car Garage or money back.
I have a standard 30 year fixed rate mortgage at around 5%. I am planning for an early mortgage payoff. I am wondering if I should pay the minimum mortgage payment and save my extra cash until I can pay the mortgage off in one lump sum 9-10 years from now or make smaller monthly payments.
We have been pre-approved by a mortgage company. The mortgage company has recommended a real estate agent. I am a little leary of going with this real estate agent, however, because, being a first time home buyer, I need a lot of guidance. I am afraid that, being tied to the mortgage broker, the real estate agent might not fight to get us the best mortgage deal (if it happens to be with a company other than the original mortgage broker’s).
