I own a property with 2 homes on it. Can I sell one home and live in the other?

I would like to sell the main house and live in the coach house. Can I form an association between myself and the potential new owner without subdividing the property? It may be impossible to subdivide. thanks

To sell part of it you’d have to subdivide it.
Depends on your local Zoning laws. In most municipalities the answer is NO. It would have to be subdivided and conform to minimum lot size and set backs
No, the only way is to sub-divide. It costs a lot and as you said may not be possible.
